Phoenix Children’s Hospital imported the style and pizzazz of the Italian Riviera for the 15th annual Beach Ball fundraiser on Saturday, March 8, 2008. Held at the Arizona Biltmore Resort and Spa, all proceeds went to the hospital’s Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders. Below are a selection of photos from the event. Proceeds from the Beach Ball event will help to fund the Children's Heart Center at Phoenix Children's Hospital. The Center is the premier regional referral center in the Southwest and is the fifth largest program of its kind in the U.S. It offers the most comprehensive inpatient and outpatient pediatric cardiac care services to infants, children and teens with congenital heart defects, rhythm disturbances, heart failure and other cardiac-related problems.
